I’m Jo, the maker behind Leets & La.

Inspired by the calming influence of the Jersey Shore coast, I began transforming natural shells into one-of-a-kind decorative pieces designed to bring a touch of the beach indoors.

What started as a therapeutic hobby, creating pieces to gift friends and family, quickly grew into requests for custom designs. As the business expanded, I began selling through local boutiques and art collectives along the Jersey Shore. While I continue to create and curate my own designs, custom work has grown into a specialty, using personal photos, pets, destinations, and meaningful imagery.

Each piece begins with a natural shell, intentionally sourced from a coastal supplier for size, weight, and quality. Designs are created, hand-applied, then finished with a glossy protective coating. These pieces function beautifully as jewelry dishes, keepsake trays, remembrance pieces and decorative accents that bring a small piece of the shore home.
