Jersey Artisan Co. was born from a deep passion for the time-honored traditions of Southern Italy, passed down through generations. Founded by Salvatore Pisani, the company is rooted in the rich culinary heritage of his family. Growing up in Morris County, NJ, Sal learned the craft of growing, aging, and creating with his hands from his father, Rocco Pisani, who emigrated from Calabria, Italy in 1986. Inspired by Rocco’s large home garden and dedication to fresh, local, and high-quality ingredients, Sal set out to carry on the family legacy by crafting products that are both healthy and delicious, staying true to the artisan traditions that shaped him.
