HOLLAND RIDGE FARMS U Pick Sunflower: Fall Festival 2026 - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

UPDATED REFUND POLICY, EVENT GUIDELINES & CURATION - LOAD IN COMING SOON

Please prepare for the chilly mornings by layering up and bringing along a change of shoes or waterproof boots. The morning dew can saturate your shoes & socks leading to misery. Don't forget to pack some food/snacks as well, as you'll be a hike away from the food trucks.

We care about your well-being and want you to have an enjoyable day at the event. That's why we're being persistent in emphasizing these guidelines.

How big is my space ? Do you provide tents?

Each vendor space is 10x10

Tables/chairs/tents/stakes/weights are not provided, vendors must bring their entire setup.

A cart/wagon is needed to transport products from their vehicles to the event space.

Note: please make sure your cart has big wheels and can go over rough terrain.

What is your cancellation policy? What happens if it rains?

All our events at Holland Ridge take place rain/shine or snow.  However, in the event that Holland Ridge management makes the determination to close or postpone, due to extreme weather conditions, you will receive a credit that can be for any other markets until Dec 2027.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.

It's essential to note that vendor cancellation policies and the code of conduct remain unchanged for all Fresh Market events. We strongly recommend that you thoroughly review our vendor guidelines, code of conduct, and cancellation policy by visiting the following links:

How can I be prepared for the weather?

Holland Ridge Market is held in an open field, so it's important to come prepared for possible rain and wind. Please bring stakes and sturdy, heavy weights to secure your setup. Wind posed a significant challenge last year, so consider ways to windproof your display. Have a back up plan in place to secure your items in the case of rain & wind.  It cannot be stressed enough: having just 10 pounds of weight per tent leg is insufficient, 40 pounds will not hold your tent down with wind gusts up to 25mph or more in an open field. You should have at LEAST 200 pounds of weight on your tent. If you can do more, we would encourage it. If you have a heavy cart we would suggest using a bungee to attach it to your tent to  help keep your set up on the ground. Stakes are not optional; they are a requirement. Failure to follow these safety measures may result in being asked to leave the event without a refund. This strict protocol is in place to safeguard not only yourselves but also your fellow vendors and the attendees.

Can I drive to my space to unload?

Vendors are not permitted to drive onto the grounds of Holland Ridge Farm. However, this year, Holland Ridge is offering a load-in service. For a $25 cash fee (paid directly to HR), they will provide 2 trips to transport your setup to your designated spot using a Kubota vehicle. If your set up requires more trips, you will be charged an additional 25.00 PLEASE BRING EXACT CHANGE.

Otherwise, you must load in your entire setup. If this is not manageable for you, this market may not be a good fit. Please note that this service is only available for load-in; for load-out, you must cart your entire setup to your vehicle.

Vendors participating for the full weekend may leave their setup onsite, but Holland Ridge and Fresh Markets are not responsible for any theft or damage.

Note: If you have a very elaborate or heavy set up, you should look into ways to slim it down.

How far is the parking lot to my spot? From the parking lot gate to the beginning of the vendor spots is about 250ft. You’ll have to walk further depending on where your spot is. If you have extra people to help you we recommend bringing them.

Important curation note:

For this year's event at Holland Ridge, we invite participating vendors to enhance the farm experience by incorporating specific farm related items.  Before picking out dates we will ask you to share with us a unique product you plan to create for this occasion.

For inspiration, consider the following examples:

  • Pottery Vendor: Pottery featuring flowers, farm animals, or nature elements.
  • Candle Vendor: Designing a candle named after a type of fall flower.
  • Apparel Vendor: Offering shirts adorned with butterflies.

While not all your items need to follow a theme, we request at least one or two products that subtly tie in with the overall event and farm experience.   We appreciate your creativity and commitment to making this year's event memorable.

.

When Holland Ridge gets crowded, some vendors may experience difficulties processing online payments due to high demand. While some transactions may still go through, they could be slow. We recommend that vendors be prepared to use offline payment methods.

Please set up and test alternative payment systems before arriving at the farm on Sunday. Also, make sure to have enough cash on hand to provide change for large bills throughout the day.

Load in info will be posted 2 weeks before the start date of the market.
